CONFLICT RESOLUTION COURT

Project Description
Due to the fact that our students live in communities that are infested with drugs, gangs, and violence, we are teaching this activity to give the students new alternatives to solving problems with other individuals.   Students will come together to share experiences, strengths, hopes, coping skills, and resources.  The purpose of this activity is to help students understand their illness, explore various coping skills, and access and share resources within their community.

We are trying to instill a proper set of values and norms in order to produce productive members of society.  We encourage them to become law-abiding citizens and family/goal oriented people. In addition, we try to help prevent relapses.
