Task:

The Museum of Science and Industry is sponsoring a contest for teenagers to design their dream bedroom. 

 

You are to design your bedroom by locating the items you want to furnish your dream bedroom.  The bedroom must be completely furnished from the paint on the wall to the type of flooring you desire.  Resources you may use are the Internet, catalogs, circulars, etc.  You will present your design to the class in a presentation of your choice using the programs utilized in class.

Essential Question:

        What do artifacts reveal about a culture?

 

Specific Questions:

        What do you consider the essential items necessary

         in the bedroom?

       

        What would you want your bedroom to reveal

         about you?

Part 1

 

A. Create a drawing of your dream bedroom.

                       

 

 

B. Briefly describe your dream bedroom.

 

C. List all the items you would like to have in your bedroom.
