Fairy Tales

Project Description

The students will be exposed to fairy tales three days a week for 10 weeks. First the students’ participation is essential to demonstrate how well the students listen to the story.  Second, the students will be asked to draw a picture of what they can remember/imagine about the story.  Thirdly, they will be required to dictate/write a sentence or sentences about the story. This practice will initiate their writing skills.   Then, the students will work in groups to present a story (from the stories told) using their drawings in sequential order of events. This practice will prepare the students to create his or her story.  Finally, each student will create a story and present his or her story to the class.
