Breads

The Mission

The Chicago Historical Society is studying ethnic communities throughout Chicago.  They have asked us to assist them in their study of various communities and to determine what makes the different cultures unique. The cultures and communities represented are African Americans, Jews, Hispanics, Italians, and Muslims.

You will work in cooperative groups to find out about each of these ethnic groups by studying the breads prepared by each of them. Your job will be to give a Power Point  presentation on the uniqueness of the culture as determined by their bread.
