Black Inventors |

| Project Description | ||||||||||||||||||
| Students are going
to explore and investigate the contributions Black
inventors made to the quality of life in the United
States. Throughout the year, the students will work in
cooperative groups, learning about Black inventors. Each
month students will be a part of a different cooperative
group. That cooperative group will be responsible for
analyzing two inventions by Black inventors. They will
use materials and resources available during that time
period to recreate the inventions. Students will create a
mini-series on Afro-American inventors for a culminating
activity. |
