Music
has always been such an integral part of a culture because it reflects the
climate and influences that causes both
subtle changes and drastic shifts in a society. Music
is created by different ethnic groups and every age group.
The difference in the feelings of each is reflected in the type and
kind of music created by each generation.
Working in various cooperative groups, students will assume specific roles and responsibilities as you research historical times periods. Students will develop an understanding of what was happening during that time period and how the music reflected what was taking place in society. Once students gain an understanding of the time period and the music, they will create a multimedia production.
