Communication across the Internet

Teacher Page

Project Description

Since September 11, 2001, businesses and government entities have changed the way that they communicate within their organizations and with the people they service.  Business air travel is down. And because of the anthrax scare, Congress has asked us to e-mail them rather than send regular mail. In today’s armed services, Internet access is available for military personnel to communicate with their families back home.

Using the Internet for e-mailing and chatting, each student will take on the role of a service man or woman far from home who wants to communicate with loved ones back home.
