How can you tell when a staff development program
has been successful?

Successful staff development means more than adhering to standards, following a plan and creating some attractive workbooks.  The proof of any teaching intervention - be it for students or for teachers - is in the evidence that the participants in the class or workshop can apply what they have learned in the “real world.”

Teachers and students at the 2000-2001 TLCF program schools have reason to be proud of their achievements.  The evidence that they can apply their new skills successfully is posted on this web site.  Share their success stories by clicking on the school names at the left, or click here to see the latest from schools participating in Summer Session programs.
