Students at Florence Nightingale Elementary School participated in the GLOBE data collection and
analysis project.

The students carried out a series of investigations that scientists have designed to gather data about the Earth and how it functions as a global system. Students used instruments and their own senses to observe the environment near their school. They recorded their data, saved it in a permanent school data record, and sent it to the GLOBE Student Data Server. Click here to see some of their data.

Nightingale students also participated in a Rainforest WebQuest and published their own descriptive essays online.
